Bakelite figural necklaces and bracelets are some of the most desirable vintage items around and they still haven’t lost their allure.

The necklace is a rich cherry red with thick, chunky acorns and carved leaves. These delightful figurals suspend from brass rings on a celluloid chain. The clasp is one of the older spring rings which helps us date this to an earlier 1930’s piece of jewelry.

The acorns are 5/8” in diameter on top and slightly more than that lengthwise. The carved leaves are 1 ½” by 1 ½” and are almost ¼” thick.

The necklace measures 16” long. It lies beautifully around the neck. It is in excellent vintage condition with no cracks and guaranteed to be vintage bakelite.
