Elgin is one of the oldest and most recognizable names in the watch industry and this 18k white gold watch is an outstanding exampleof this renowned maker's timepieces.
The watch has a beautiful face complete with silver flowers and gold numbers. The 18k gold case is truly classic with scrollwork and brilliant black enamel. The watch is fine enough for evening yet very wearable for a daily watch. The watch face is 1 1/8" by 5/8" wide. It is 17 jewels, and the movement # is #32942861. The case is sold 14K gold and is #4657, marked Elgin.
The silk cord is the traditional deco black cord that sets off the black enamel flawlessly and the strong fold over clasp is sturdy and works perfectly. The watchband is adjustable and can be shortened if necessary.
The watchband measures 6 1/2" and can be adjusted. It is in excellent vintage running condition with a warm patina and guaranteed to work. It has recently been cleaned and adjusted so it is in fine running condition.
